That's an interesting lot. I think I also see a Game Changer top cap in there. I'll be curious to see what else is in there when you get them in hand.

    Ain't this different....
Looks like I'm gonna hafta put down an adjustable to try this baby out in the morning.
Paid $5 for it while out in the world.
It's a Travalong razor made by the Pak Co. In Cleveland ohio. Don't have the box or leather case but that won't stop it from shaving. I think it's a 40's vintage razor.

Thanks Andrew. I did notice the top cap that you mentioned because of the machining marks. It is next to the 1932 Canada bottom plate on Rh side. I also noticed a bottom cap with a serial number in the upper Rh area of the picture. They should be here in a couple days. I will get some better pictures, post them and get the gang to help identify what I cannot. I will make this a 30dc crew project. Should be fun.

Very interesting.......very interesting Terry. I believe if you can shave with that you can shave with a sardine can.

I find the OEM R41 too light, I also use a thicker heavier handle with mine. You’re going to like it on the bulldog handle. Looking forward to the shave report.

The place has such a reputation.

I could drive 60 miles north or south and they knew I wasn't from around there.

I'm in PA now. The township I live in is committed to maintaining an agricultural focus. A number of young Amish families have begun settling the area to find lower land costs. A few years back, there were none. A few are in walking distance now. Gotta watch out for the horse-drawn traffic. I've seen them around midnight. Scary at times. Nothing like cresting a hill at 45-50 and find a buggy trotting along.

TGIF shave: This big 7/8 Koraat with 3/4 grind was just honed so I wanted to check the edge. The last time I honed this razor I failed, it was possible to shave with but way below standard. This time was a success, above standard but not to my gold standard. The result was an excellent shave.

    Razor: Karaat 7/8 grind: 3/4
    Strop: Roo
Brush: Handle by Jason Omega Pro knot
    Pre: Proraso
Soap: Fine 2 drops of M-bomb
    AS: Fine Vetiver
    Scent: Guerlain Vetiver

No pic today so I used the pic Ulrick sent me.

My first college was in an Amish-type town out in PA. I enjoyed that experience, learning about them.

Bill, Pennsylvania has some beautiful areas. I have driven through the state on Route 80 and it has some nice hills. The fall foliage is outstanding!
