thank you Kevin.i like the slim because mine is a birthyear/quarter one..no fatboys in 67 and no other all brass gillettes in 67 either...the slim is the last all brass gillette ever built.i have a goatee at present so shaving under the nose isn't an issue..i like the 1960s slim head flare tip rockets the best when i am clean shaven..honestly shave wise no real preference..

SOTD:
Decided to finally retire the 7 o clock sharp edge after 20 perfect shaves, I used a voshkod for the first time today. Not the sharpest blade, but usually blades feel a lot sharper on the second shave but very very smooth nonetheless.

Thanks to the warm weather here in South Africa, ive been able to switch back to aftershaves instead of balms like prep even though its still winter.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Arko Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #376 Brush. I did two passes with the Eversharp H2 Hussy razor with a Personna Injector Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Proraso White Tub today. 20 seconds to load the Plisson #12 European White Badger brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette “Spoiler” Super Stainless blade in the Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Executive Man aftershave.

Today I wanted to use this lovely peppermint scented soap because it’s been too long and I’m so happy I did. The scent is beautiful - it filled the bathroom, the lather was so rich as well as slick, and it felt very cooling - in fact so cooling that it can easily pass for a menthol soap. If I don’t have this Arko Aqua gel for twelve years I don’t have it for one day - it still smells great and it feels very moisturizing, it soothes very well, and it has a good menthol sensation. The Amici aftershave is also quite cooling and the wife likes the scent, which is also a big plus. Three passes gave me a brilliant BBS shave!
