    Your so close on your EDRIO. Quite the accomplishment!
    Any newfound favorites that will make it into the regular rotation?

    Yes, sorry about that. I have a friend whose grandson is Dylan. I think it is time for me to ingest some gingko biloba.

    Thank Jim! Though I just added a +1. As far as favorites,. Eh, not sure. They all shave well. The biggest surprise for me was the J-twin. That one will definitely be getting more use.

    Rural PA is beautiful, Bill.

    Last year, we spent an evening with an Amish family in Northern Indiana. It included dinner, a farm tour, and a buggy ride. It was a very enjoyable evening that ended with hugs all around. We could ask them anything, as long as they could ask us a similar question. The buggy ride was much different than I would have imagined. As cars approached and then moved past the buggy, even at reasonable speeds, it sounded and felt like they were forcing us off the road. The family told us of the occasional drivers who purposely sped around them and revved up their engine to spook their horse. That's very sad and could potentially be tragic. As you said, it really makes me watch and think now more than ever when I'm driving in these areas. It's scary to think about approaching a buggy late at night or in difficult conditions.

    Hang in there, Patrick. I know your friend appreciates all you're doing for him and his family.

    Check with me later, and I'll let you know who's been acting up while you've been gone. I've got some notes around here somewhere...

    I'm not buying it, Danny. I still think you're a 22-year-old unshaven hipster wearing unwashed jeans and living in Delaware. Anybody can dig up tractor and Vette photos on Google. ;)

    Have fun on your wedding trip to PA. If you have a little extra time, you might consider exploring the Atlantic coast. We've driven to Bar Harbor, Maine a couple of times, and we've had blast up there. Also been to Cape Cod...another beautiful place on the coast.

    Give Mom and Dad another big hug from me. :)

    I checked the Stirling website, but our 30DC Blood on Steel Limited Edition or the real name "Tsuka" are not listed. If I have the correct name, the scent is based on a product by Japanese designer Hanae Mori that is described as;

    "A powerful citrus opening, very sweet and creamy. Amazed this is strictly listed as a cologne and not a unisex fragrance. As it starts to dry down, you call smell the lavender and light vanilla come to the forefront. The lemon is a bit overpowering but calms down rather quickly to a quirky, upbeat spring-summer scent. Likely too sugary for some but it's well-blended. The drydown is the best part: cedar-woody notes come out and balance out the notes, as well as touches of chocolate to make an offbeat gourmand."

    That info from a review on basenotes.net where they list it as;

      • Top Notes
        • Lemon,
        • Lavender,
        • Blackcurrant,
        • Green notes
      • Heart Notes
        • Iris,
        • Jasmine,
        • Lily of the valley,
        • Bulgarian rose
      • Base notes
        • Moss,
        • Vanilla,
        • Tonka bean,
        • Cedarwood,
        • Chocolate,
        • Amber
