The shave feels the same to me. Just depends on which you like the look of better. Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
It won't be a fair comparison, my CC is the mild game changer, the OC has the 84 gap. But to answer your question the OC out preforms my CC. Both are very good razors. Sent from my SM-T387V using Tapatalk
Hot and humid. I needed a bit of a face chill. The GC .84, Lisa’s Florida Freeze & Chiseled’s Cryogen. Yeah, got it....
My RR GC .84 razor arrived this afternoon and I took it for its first shave this evening. Haven’t shaved sine Friday morning so a day and a half growth. No typical shower or even face wash, just hot water prep and go to town. Wow! I’m impressed. Efficiency and comfort. For me, the best combination of both traits in a razor I have experienced. Now I know I need to temper my enthusiasm after a sample of one but I’m encouraged. Great shave today, we’ll see Monday and moving forward. Fyi, I used a ikon bulldog handle because I have a couple and like them more than the radio knob handle that came with the razor.
Picked this one up off the b/s/t a week ago and it came in yesterday. First shave last night and it was a good one. I find it almost equal to the GC in the sb configuration in smoothness with a nice bump up in efficiency and blade feel that was very pleasing. Another winner in the RR line up..... Edit: Ooops, it's the Jaws version. Sorry....
3rd straight shave with the GC .84 OC Jaws and just a very comfortable, smooth yet very efficient feeling shave. 2.5 passes that left me near BBS minus for 2 weepers near Sir Adam. It certainly shaves as good as the GC .84 SB and perhaps even better though it’s only 3 shaves in but, I’m starting to believe that it feels as though it’s a better shaver than the SB. More shaves to follow..
