I did have work release so I could deliver my newspapers.

How else could I afford this shave gear without resorting to commode bombing.

    Call it a gift...or a curse, Joseph. ;)

I have friends that attended IU, Purdue, and Rose-Hulman. Indiana has some fine universities, but the best thing that ever came out of Indiana was an empty bus. :happy102:

All in good fun, my friend. Have a great weekend, and Go IU! :happy036:

Bob Evans has a pretty good breakfast. Nothing fancy, just home cookin', a good cup of Jo, and maybe a buck or two more expensive than Waffle House. I don't see any down your way, though.

Mickey Dee's is OK if you're desperate or in a hurry. They do serve a good cup of coffee and used to have pretty good apple and cherry turnovers. In the unsupervised time of my youth, I would bite off the end of a turnover and fill the empty space from the sugar packets. (Don't try this at home.) I've since changed (some of) my ways. My Bride still thinks a proper McD's meal consists of french fries and a chocolate shake.

Encountered one on my way home last night about 11:15 pm. Narrow placed headlights with flashers on. Confused me because all my previous night encounters were from the rear.

Very many of the horses they use are retired off-track standardbreds formerly used in horse cart racing. Incredible animals that trot at 35 mph and pull like 10x their weight (not simultaneously). Years back one young horse I ponied through trails on my best horse later went on to win a Championship at a race in your neck of the woods.

Amish are pretty good with horses, they were used for the drive training on this particular horse. Usually their animals are considered to be near "bomb proof". Reasonable folk usually exercise decent courtesy.

The Amish near me are not as restricted as some.

Hahaha. I will need an update for sure Charlie. Good to see you're keeping them honest. And yes , they really appreciate the long hours I've been putting in. Funny story....I dropped in one day to check put the place and see how things were . Haven't left since.

Agree, Joe. Wendy's has the best fast food burger, chili, and fries...and I've been known to sample one or two of their Frosty's. We don't go to fast food places much these days, though. Occasionally, we go to Steak 'n Shake if we want a good burger and a shake.

We have a WC Lounge (White Castle) a couple miles from our house. 6 with extra onions, fries or rings, and a Coke will set you right. They also have good coffee and breakfast rolls, as I remember. The first coffee I remember tasting as a kid was from my Dad's cup at White Castle. They served it up in one of these...

When I was a kid living in Brooklyn, WC burgers were 5 or 10 cents a piece. I loved their hot chocolate with the mini marshmallows. Today, it just isn't the same.

Thanks Joseph! Getting a shave such as this one makes me feel so good. It is almost 12 hours since my morning shave and my face still feels smooth.

If the good Lord has me going that way, then I just may take you up on it. Hopefully, I might go to the next meetup and maybe I might see you and the other fellas there.

Lol! After 3 years at LA Fitness, I just renewed my membership for another year so that I can still work on my abs. Somehow, at 64, I don't think it is possible to see my six pack due to my age, testosterone level and diet. Besides, it really isn't good to have six pack abs because you need some fat to fight off the eventual chronic illness that will happen to us all.

I don't think so. I know WC HQ is in Ohio. I want to say Columbus, but not sure. I am going by what I remember were the locations listed on the box. You can look up the info on the net.

@Paul Turner, there's only one WC in the entire state of PA. The address is 1280 MacArthur Rd, Whitehall PA which is near Allentown. WC joints are located in New York, New Jersey, Indiana(Joseph's state), Illinois, Kentucky (Charlie's state),
Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Louisianna, Tennessee and Nevada
