I did 60 on the hone. In straight razor world, one = up and back...I learned that over at SRP. Then I did 60 on the strop. After I shaved with it, I did 100 on the hone. We'll see how that does tomorrow... (yes, I will strop it before the shave..) Yeah, I've got me one of those sick spouses, too.... Hey Queenie! Glad to see you back in here! He's just kind of laying low for awhile... work's got him stressed to the nines and he's just kind of taking a hiatus from posting for now. I will tell you that his boy had to have stitches the other day, little pumpkin' head tripped and hit his noggin on the corner of the couch... took 3 stitches. Doug said if he had thrown the blighter at the couch, he'd probably miss the spot that did the damage.
oh, updates: I asked for prayers for my uncle last week: he came out of surgery fine, but the other issues are still urgent. to add insult to injury, their daughter was robbed while at the hospital during the stay ... there is not an angry emoticon angry enough, I tell ya... as for the sick spouses... my wife started a couple months back with low grade fever, sore throat, achy body, etc...went to doctor, got treated for strep. symptoms temporarily went away, then came back worse. long story short, there is a specialist appointment in Longview next month, we're not real sure what's going on, though we do have idea of some of the possibilities, but we're just taking one day at a time

One of my wife's friends had a child yesterday but for some reason none of her family would believe her. They all thought she was April Fooling them when she called....
