August Adjustables on a Citrus Sunday

    Mystic Water Raspberry & Lemon
    SP→2 VS Black badger
    Suribachi & cool water
    The Bunny / Wild comb
    Schick "Chick" blade
    Osage Rub & Florida Water
SOTD 08182019.gif Crushed a menthol crystal, dissolved it in Osage Rub, and built my lather in the bowl. Between the two cooling elements I almost lost the scent of the soap. The lather didn't suffer for any shortage of it's qualities. I've been bitten by The Bunny but not this time. It's light weight so avoiding pressure tames the beast. Three full passes, a little fooling around on my lower neck, & a DFS was delivered with no nicks. Mixed The Rub and Florida Water in my hand and applied it. Felt so good I did it again.
    Good Shaves Y'all!

Thank you Gary! I've done Spicy Sunday a few times recently. It was hot & muggy today so I enjoyed a cool one instead.

    SOTD:
Decided to switch out the Jagen David for my 1948 aristocrat with the barber pole handle because i havent used this razor much this year. This was my second razor i ever bought and since then the collection has grown exponentially, and this razor got a lot of use last year.

The voshkod blade is at its peak at shave 3, definitely a very good blade. I wouldn't say i prefer them over the 7 o clock sharp edges as im a huge fan of sharp blades, but theyre still very very good blades nonetheless. I think in the next month or so I'll try out a lion de blade again and do a comparison.

Razor: Gillette aristocrat 1948 (barber pole handle)
    Blade: voshkod (3)
    Brush: omega 49
    Soap: arko shave stick
    Aftershave balm: prep[IMG]

Its a beautiful razor, rhodium plating, i picked it up for under 10 dollars. The seller didn't realize how much more it was worth and neither did I at the time, i got it a month or so after my first DE razor which was a South African clone of the 7 o clock razors and it quickly became my daily shaver.
