Thanks! The nerve to sell them? I'm not a collector, but when I saw them, I knew they belonged in a collector's hands...not on a table in an antique store. So I "liberated" them! :D I never had the intention of keeping them. I like to use my razors....

When I clicked on it, it said "Embedding disabled" ....oh well...

Any RN's or PA's in here? I'd like to get some opinions on the profession if any would like to offer their two cents.

    ahhh....thanks :ashamed001
Not me...I'd say go for PA if it's a career for you.... more responsiblity, can order medicines, etc.... or paramedic - "Doing the same thing as a doctor at 100 mph" - it was a demotivational poster I saw that I can't locate online at the moment...

    Wow...that's some beautiful wood.
Interesting color shift from side to side.

PM Sent. Even needing repair, I'm hearing "you lucky duck" over at FPN for finding this for just $15.

    thanks
wish I knew what kind of wood it was. It came in a box of random cutoffs, I could tell it was going to be cool with the white on one corner, I wouldn't have imagined what it's turning out to be - not sure if I'll be able to bring myself to offer it for sale, now :D

To be honest, it almost looks like the type of color bands you'd find in a knot, but knots are difficult to work and wouldn't shape like the softer wood.
If you find out what it is, let us know... otherwise we'll just continue to enjoy the beauty from the safety of ignorance.:D

I asked the shop teacher what he thought, he seems to think cocobolo, but it doesn't look like any I'd seen before, but right there in the description it said it could have white colorations in it. but all that's speculation.

on your theory, it was fairly easy to turn, but this is coming after that pink ivory....I think granite would be a little softer than PI! :happy097
not really, but PI is some dense stuff, you gotta take your time with it.

The weather is... hell, who cares what it's like outside? It's beautiful in my head. I'm having an amazing time of it the last few weeks and things look to keep looking up.

I can't see this site at work anymore, so that sucks. Other than that... Life is brilliant friends and relatives. I really hope all is the same for you.

Very good price. Looked at the pictures - it appears to be in nice shape too. Love the Feather Touch 5 nibs... they're usually awesome!

oops, my invader snails started doing exactly what they're named for, invading my fish tank. They laid about 30 eggs all over the walls of the tank that I had to wipe off, now that I'm thinking about it it could have been fun to put all the snail eggs in a little cup and see if they grew. If it happens again I might do that
