I don't know why I can't sleep tonight, I feel like something is bothering me and keeping me up but I don't know what

That would make for a tasty circle of life.

That's what we're here for. Would you like to sit on the couch and spill to Dr. Corey?

haha I'd love to but I don't know what's wrong

I think I should get a rolls razor, not that I'll use it but I kind of want one

I'm playing a similar game right now. I'd like to buy a Feather Artist Club, but do I need it? The answer is no. Do I want it? The answer is yes.

oh it isn't even do I need it, I literally will not use it.. I just miss Rolls and feel like it would be nice to have one around.

edit: I use a $12 I don't even remember the brand (vincent?) DE that I got on amazon

How do you like it? I picked up a Parker on Amazon as my first DE and it's nice, but I quickly got some older Gillettes that I like a bit more. Have you been able to compare the Vincent to any other razors?

I like it, I'm a bit paranoid when it comes to old razors so I really don't want to go down that road. Unless I can find something new in a box I really don't think I'd use it.

Really? You can boil and barbacide the old ones and they're good as new. Not a thing is going to survive a boiling bath and a soak in barbacide.

Yeah but if it doesn't look brand new it would just drive me nuts, not from a visual standpoint either. Just a paranoid omg did I kill everything point of view. It's ok, I'm content with my cheap DE. I make up for a cheap DE with a 28mm silvertip :happy102.

It's a neat blade... but personally I'd rather have a Dovo.
Ever since I saw this one, it's been on my "some day" list http://www.classicshaving.com/i/DOVO Razors/EbonySqTip.jpg

I should get brave and try a straight, I'll bleed all over the place though, especially in these little dorm showers.

I've been eyeing Dovo's and TI's. I came damn close to blowing my budget on a TI Super Gnome today, but I missed the final minute of the auction. Probably for the best mind you, but it was sweet looking. Why must this addiction cost so much money Greg? Why?

The best things in life are free.

...but since some of us never seem to get those things, we spend exorbitant sums of money to make ourselves feel better about it.

Like the box of crap he won? :happy097

As soon as I become employed again, I'm considering a Dovo shavette to try my hand at straight shaving. :D Then Corey will have me eyeballing and drooling over TIs with him. :happy097

Hoooray box of crap. I can't wait til it shows up. Who knows what wonders could be contained within. Could be the shirt and stickers, like you thought, or it could be a box filled with feces, like I'm thinking. Or who knows what else.

since I decided to be a good person and not derail the D&D campaign, on saturday I think I need to at least call nature's wrath down all over the freaking place just because I can.

I'm not in any particular hurry to get into straights.
I've been shaving with DE's for over a year now and I still feel like I could improve my technique. Using a naked blade adds a higher level of complexity and consequences that I'm not sure I'm ready to deal with.

I'll get there, I'm sure... perhaps I should polish up that Geneva that I've had for years and get a decent strop. It'll likely need honing as well, but I might let someone else do that.

Shaving with the straight has been fun. I'm nowhere close to BBS, and end up touching everything up with the Tech, but it's still fun. The strop they sell in the TDS store is really a nice piece of leather. It's nice and wide and makes it easier to strop. Honing, for now anyway, is way outta my league. I'd like to send mine off to one of the people on SRP to get a few of them into shave ready condition (especially the japanese straight), but that's for another time.

Get the guards into a frenzy, pass the blame off on someone you don't like.
I'd say that's a good start down the path to chaotic neutral.
