A quick but nice 2 pass shave earlier this morning. This will be my Tobacco Tuesday soap until it is done (it will be awhile, but at least there is a large donut hole in the bottom). Everything worked as it should, which is awesome given the quality of the software. It will probably be a few hours before I can pop back in to fully get caught up on the days posts and shenanigans.
    Have a great day, all!

Thank you Andrew. I’m sort of shocked myself. However the 7 o’clock blades load easier in the 47 SS. The yellows were a close second when I went with Feather.

Hi guys, today I decided to take a ride to the Art of Shaving store in Nassau ounty, Long Island! It is about 43 miles west of me. It is located in the biggest mall on Long Island and needless to say, parking is not a fun project. However, I got a good space and it was a short walk to get inside the mall. It was my first time at the store and I wasn't impressed. One side is the barbershop side so you can get a professional straight razor shave. Yeah like I am going to spend 40 to 50 dollars on something I can do myself. Lol! The other side has their inventory of soaps, beard oil, creams, straight razors and safety razors. The space was small, I would say 12 x 25. I was quite disappointed because they didn't have an extensive inventory. Everything was lavender scented. The straight razors were only 5/8 roundpoints and meh scales. One of the razors looked like it had some speck on the blade. Finally, the saleslady was done and asked me, if I needed any help. I asked if this is your entire inventory of razors because I like the larger blades. She said that is all they carried. Asked about the store hours and she looked confused as if everyone should know they close at 9:30pm every night except Sundays. They close on 6 on Sundays. Also, she tells me the barbershop hours. Whst a dingbat! She knows that I am a SR shaver and that it is obvious that I am a headshaver so why tell me the barbershop hours when I wouldn't use that service. Anyway, this is a top tier place and I thought they would have a more diverse selection of products. I previously have gone on their website, but why pay the shipping fee when you can go to their store. At least I satisfied my curiosity.
