I thought a cake was something you ate and a puck was what they hit with a stick on ice up north! :D

I thought Danny was the guy with the wisecrax  And by the way, there is some hockey down South, too.

+1 to the cool water shaves. I'm further South and continue to do cool until outside temp drop below 60F (15-1/2C).

Late to the party today, @wchnu:

Very nice pic, Jim. What is the difference between the balm and the tonic? Are they both needed?
Sorry to hear your package got the 'special' treatment, Terry. IB has those razors as well if you want them to come from North America.
Just a classic shave and pic, Jim!
Love the BoS too, Perry. What a long lasting splash as well, imho.
You are travelling, Gary? Safe travels! Mail me the Sheraton for safe keeping while you are gone...
That head looks made for the handle, Danny. Awesome.
Great reduction, Randy! What? No Florida Water? I'm shocked...
Great shots, Clint. Tried to order the Cubebe combo last night. My fave retailer is out of the splash, but the soap will be soon incoming...
Thanks for the excellent knot comparison, Blair. Hopefully I'll be able to show a comparison myself in a few weeks, if I finally get these darn things turned.
Great combo, Joseph. I have yet to try a true cold water shave, it would probably be a 'have to' like yours today.
What an awesome score! Some faves for sure there, Danny. I wonder what happened to the handles?
Super shave, Joe. I like the Stirling Bay Rum as well, and I'm not really a Bay Rum guy.

Thank you, Jason! This is the only Bay Rum that I have tried and so I can't compare with other Bay Rum aftershaves, but this scent is marvelous!

    Thanks, Jason.
The Relief Balsam is more of a lotion whereas the Tonic is an aftershave splash. Both have skin care ingredients. Are both needed? Need really dosen't come into play with most of what I do.

The Zenith knot in the images is barely broken in, maybe 5-6 uses. The Zenith copper handle patina (and green ring on the knot) just wasn't my thing, so it was a no brainer to sacrifice for a first knot swap. The Omega is only 3-4 uses in. Squeezing them at their base, as mentioned, you can feel the density difference. Harder to see when dry.

Tomorrow I'll have a little more time....will try some comparison images of a well broken in Zenith 28mm.

@clint64 - Thanks for the heads up on the Oxyclean. I think there's some hidden somewhere around the house by the estrogen units. I had cleaned it several times with bleach already scrubbing with a toothbrush...will see what Oxyclean does.

To All..a sincere Thank You for all the kind words on today's shave gear and image. As well, to everyone, it's always a great short lived diversion to see all the different hardware and software, so excellently photographed every day!

Oh....and all watch aficionados, you're gonna make me tinker with a few obsession pieces before the smart watch era.....stay tuned.

Thanks for the comments on the shave and the razor heads. It would be interesting to know what happened to the handles.

Ahh, OK! So a dryer milled soap like Williams (cakes) might take more agitation action to load enough. Softer Artisan soaps (pucks) are fresher from the cook pot to your shave den with higher moisture content facilitating loading and reducing the need to or desire to bloom. Which has more cooling action? Back to the recipe the maker used.
Thank you Chris! I really enjoy a well done cover tune. Some of the younger folks in the audience were enjoying the tune while being stifled by the grown ups. Retro Future for the win...

Awesome reports lads. And thank you Danny. Rick, I'm a lover of watches also but I don't own any high end stuff. I wear mine on a daily basis and my favorite is my father's gold watch from when he retired from the plant. My mother gave it to me after he passed .
