Seiko SARB033. This is the same watch as the 035 I posted yesterday but with a black face. Great any occasion watch. Really dresses up nicely with a black leather band.

That's a classic, Jim, and it looks nice on leather. The Seiko SARB's are being discontinued. This one is definitely a keeper.

Hey Rick, I believe this may be a good example of my inadequate brain stream typing and interpretation. My comment was intended to be another 'I'm a newbie, and can't tell much difference' (without actually saying that again). The boar knots I've been exposed to (only 4) with 1 or 2 uses, a little scrubby. Then they seem to 'settle' to great/awesome pretty quickly. I do have one very scritchy, prickly pokey badger. Feels like the tips were sharpened. It's seen maybe 3-4 uses, is always prickly, now on the PIF list.

The great benefit of participating or following in the 30DC for me is getting to live a bit vicariously through other's experience, acquired knowledge and of course their inventory(!). The research that y'all do puts me in a doghouse by comparison. Hopefully I get there one day!
