Honestly.... I would just break them. I am too much of a clutz. At least my electro-magnetic field can't fry their circuits.

    Still cruising on caffeine?

I don't know about her, but I'm sure not.
I've had a pretty full day and the fact that it was a "day" and not a half day then nap then awake for the night has given it a bit more impact.

I conjure I'll be heading to bed before too long, but whether or not I sleep through the night remains to be seen.

And I'm with you on the pens. A friend of mine is into the fancy fountain pens.
They're pretty and classy and make smooth, swoopy letters... they just don't do that last thing in my hand. See, bad handwriting is actually good for something! (keeping me from spending money on another hobby)

I have seen some of the handwriting of some of the HYD folk who are into the pens. Infinitively better than my writing. I don't think a fancy pen is going to dress my writing up to make it any more legible. :D

I am about to crash myself. The only reason that I am still up is that it is a Friday night and I can be.

Morning everyone. It was a very quiet night on here!

Wells, RR experiment is still moving forwards. Three pass shave with the RR was better than yesterday. I think it is almost sharp enough. Now I just need to work on technique to get my jawline, chin, and nose area better (no fools pass) - though it will get honed a little more.

I feel good about using the RR. However, it is not as convenient as a DE in any form. While some parts of my beard are harder to shave, I have found it does a much better job on my lower neck than the DE (big DE problem spot). I was quite dissapointed to see rust spots starting to show up on the blade. I rinse it in alcohol, I dry it on a towel, I strop it and then put it away in a dry area which stays below 40% humidity. It is only in the bathroom while shaving and yet, there they were... rust spots. ugh! eBay RR should arrive today, so I will strip it down, replace all of its lubricant and start working on getting that blade usable next.

Wow, very quiet indeed. Where's the night crew?

I've been up for an hour or so (my dear bride was hogging the bed) but need to go back to bed before the sun comes up here. Just thought I'd drop in and say hi to everyone. Hope you all have a great weekend.

    Morning all.
I just got up a while ago, showered, shaved (I think this is the last day for that Wilkinson...poor thing just hasn't held up), and now I'm having a bit of coffee before helping the roomie with a couple of errands.

Wife had a flat on the way to work yesterday and had it changed by whoever OnStar called. Just went out in daylight to look at the tire and take it to be fixed. Egads, the rim is severely bent! She must have hit one heck of a pothole!

    Mornin' all

I just finished up my work week, glad that ones over. I'm gonna get a nap in a bit then help a buddy remove the motor/transmission from his camaro. After that, who knows...

Try pulling the skin tight, against the direction of hair growth. For the jawline, pull your cheek up, when you let it go the area still needing shaved should be well below the jaw.

I agree the nose is tricky, that's all trial and error. I tried coming at it with a few different angles until I got most if it.

You can have them. I will stick with my Signo 207 medium pt. red for the rest of the day.

After the wrench, there can be only beer.

    Yes, yes they are. :D

Sleep never feels as good as after laying on concrete all day, then having a few frosty adult beverages.

I might have to do that later, myself.
Not necessarily the concrete part, although I did just spend some time awkwardly crawling around on the ground airing up the Warrior's tires.
I hate the retractable air hoses at gas stations. :ashamed001

But yeah... a frosty adult beverage might just have to happen.
