You’re making great progress with the soap. You’ll have it dialed in shortly.

Sorry to hear about your grandchild and the chickenpox, Terry. Hope he recovers quickly. I prescribe hugs and ice cream.

Always enjoy your posts and photos. Too bad about the mole. It happens, though. I used to have a small one on my jawline. It's gone now. Thank you, Feather blades.

    Stirling Bonaparte~~Simpson T2~~1947 Super-Speed~~Personna 74
Had to get in a "rushed" shave this morning, so that precludes me using a straight.
New today is the Simpson T2, which arrived yesterday.
All in all a nice brush (my first Tulip), however, I wish that the seller had disclosed the
worn "Made in England" sticker. I told him so, but he has yet to respond.
Not a deal-breaker, as it was a very fair price and he has a very good reputation on another
forum. I guess, I will have to start asking better questions, before making a purchase.
    Caveat Emptor...as they say.
The Personna 74 has finally begun to show signs of wear. No tugging, but the sharpness is not
what it was, thus requiring a few more "buffing" strokes, before smoothness is achieved.
Even so, on my neck remains a hint of stubble. My guess is that there are two-three more
decent shaves remaining, before it gets binned.
Stirling Bonaparte is a bizarre, yet strangely alluring scent.
The soap base is great and the T2 delivered it nicely to the face.
The '47 SS zipped around the beard-area; buffed smoothly, when called upon.
2 passes and I almost caught the baby.
Nice, conservative splash of the AS and it's off to work.
Hope everyone has a great day.

    Fat Friday

    Good morning!

A quick detour away from the Adjustable razors. I decided to join Andrew @Linuxguile in a Timeless shave. Well, I think he's going to use his new Timeless.

Wonderful shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS with a tickle from the alum. A healthy splash of the Veg and I'm ready to start the day.

    Have a great Friday! [IMG]

    Shave Soap & Aftershave

Thank goodness it is Friday. I am not sure why this has been such a crazy week. I do hope that today is drama free. At least I got off to a good start with a drama free shave. The Eleven DFS LE soap smells great. I can really describe the individual notes but it reminds me of a sandalwood barbershop type scent. The soap base is easy to lather and very slick. Three passes, touch ups and buffing my neck caught the baby. The aftershave is the real star of the set. Stronger scent profile with goodies for the skin. I hope everyone has a Fantastic Friday.
