I feel so out of the loop.

Happy Belated Birthday Pam!

 

Wow... and I thought reading journals written in a composition notebook took a while. I had a classroom forum set up and my level 1 students all posted their journals online this week for everyone to comment on. In a way it is convenient that I don't have to carry around a ton of notebooks to grade, but now I am finding myself typing in depth comments to each kid. I can't skimp on a kid, because they will all know. D'oh!

 

Morning guys. Stuck at work.. oh well...

Interesting morning so far...

My wife's here for a day (my truck is dead and she's rescuing me). We were going to get ready to head to Spokane today after sleeping in a bit. My son told us he'd heard from our boarder (who's been 3 weeks in Spokane with his family) at 1:00 AM that he was going to show up with another friend and a set of parents at about 8:30 AM. :shocked003

Just taking a breather before they show up... and having a sip of coffee. I'll spare you the "we were going to ask him to move out" drama(the boarder, not my son)... interesting morning in any case. Suffice it to say his parents are, um, well, challenged - this is a way better environment for him. Looks like we'll give him a couple more months to get his act together, find a job and start contributing.

Actually, it will be pretty cool to have all three of them (my son and his two buddies, one of which is our boarder) here together for a little while at least. The third guy just got back from a couple of years at school in Japan.

Looks like I"m leaving my rental house in the hands of three 21 yr old guys for the weekend. I hope it's still standing when I get back on Monday. :happy102

 

afternoon all! been a good day so far. the boy and I spent the morning at the church and then went to the park. He's having an exceptionally good day.

I showed him how to ride his tricicle down the driveway (it's got a pretty good grade that slopes away from the road). He nearly fell over the first time- we're gonna need to work on braking and control.

Oh, and the morning's shave was awesome. Pulled my TSD cream out from a dark corner and was impressed yet again by the quality of lather. I wish the queen sold it in larger quantities that 4oz...

Happy Saturday peeps. Gonna be a busy one. My headache case isn't here yet, but will be soon. Hopefully get through that in a couple hours, and then I can swing by and play more later.

kinda busy here at work.. madae my first TSD order though. picked up some banana stuff for my SO. and a Erasmic stick for the Me. I guess for tha price it can not be that bad. Carry on folks.

And to think... I read that before I had something to relax.

Why? Why would someone make COLD coffee? I never have understood. I have tried it and have been repulsed. I suppose some people drink hot tea and others drink iced tea. But this is coffee for Pete's sake!
