What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

Great shave today. I had a Smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. Nice Old, Big razor. I left the patina on this one, because, it just looks right, to me. This Turkish soap is a slick lather monster, with a strong lemon scent.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Palmolive Shaving Cream face lathered well with the Jayaruh #206 Brush. I did two passes with the H. Böker 5/8 and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with English Leather AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Well, it’s been a busy week! But back to a more normal routine I hope. Filly 14 Sub Cero user at shave #23 on the edge longevity test, still a very sweet shaving edge. Another not-often seen thing is an empty soap tub, in this case, Acqua di Parma Collezione Barbiere. The last bit was lathered with a Simpsons 58, and a little Musgo Real Classic topped off a classic shave.
