Evenin' all, I'm just enjoying some coffee (hot :happy102), some bacon and biscuits with honey for...um...breakfast?

 

Time to put a pot on the stove for that nice hot shave...

yeah, Micah came over earlier to show me his new rig, and to take some pics of the first brush.
FYI, it's not an important detail, but just so you know, I've talked to Jen and can't bring myself to offer that brush, so I'll be turning another soon. I thought I could convince myself to go ahead and offer it, but my scruples won't allow it. Not a big deal, though, already have the piece rounded, just have to shape it now.

oh, and that cat...we have two running around the house, one is friendly to me, the other is bi-polar or something, it runs away if I'm even in the same room as it, but when I'm in bed, the stupid thing keeps jumping on me wanting me to pet it. If I try, it'll stay for about 10 seconds and run away...fairly normal feline behavior, but to a bizarre degree.
Since the incident, I've only seen that one twice...and I haven't even done anything to it...honest.....

 

we had one that was very similar to that.... even sitting on a couch or chair (in addition to the bed, like you), she would rub and purr and maneuver under your hand to be pet, but as soon as you started petting, she'd dig in her claws, bite and run away! This was also the same cat who would sit on her haunches perched under a lamp with her front paws resting up near the switch (I hope I described it well enough)...she'd sit there and just bake her brain....when she got down you could hardly touch the top of her head it was so hot! Crazy cat...

 

You have a remarkable sense of reserve. My cat likes to play on the workbench where I fix pens. We kind of disagree on how amusing that is. I've finally learned to keep stuff stashed when I'm not within arm's reach (and to close the door to my shop/office/cafeteria when I'm not in here).

 

A) for the workbench, you may set out some paint thinner, or alcohol, or something with a strong scent that would keep the cat away

B) for the "sense of reserve", well, I'm afraid that, well, .... I guess the best way to describe it would be with the old joke:

hmm....and I was thinking fur or furless?

 

I think it would still have an average airspeed velocity due to those insanely large ears.

 

Oh it is on this forum but I never attack and tell.... I just like to grumble some in my old age.

Went out for a Chinese buffet tonight... the Diabetic in me cusses at that but I do love it. Will be leaving tomorrow after work to go to the SO's grandmother's funeral. Will over night not sure if the hotel down there will have internet or not. Taking one of my plastic handle 1912's omega soap and some Colgate soap. I like to take more then one soap when I travel.And several After shaves so I can make up my mind when I shave. Unless I am really packing light.


So what else going on tonight? It is about bed time here.

Just relaxing in front of the 'puter drinking a beer or two before bed...

 

About bed time here back up at 0400 for work in the morning. My mom called and said that they had found a razor in a wood box while cleaning out my aunts house.. I am about to have kittens to see it. She can not tell me anything other then the box is wood. So we will see. I became the new owner of my late aunts salt and pepper collection the other day.., another stinkin monkey to feed
