Love that Karve! Mine has an E plate, which is a bit too aggressive for me, but I'm waiting on B Bar and Open Comb plates. I'm told the OC B plate is equivalent to C bar plate. Beautifully staged photo!

Thanks Jeff! Yeah, I have an E plate as well and I think it to is slightly too aggressive maybe?? That or I just need more practice with it? I've received some irritation from it. Let me know how the B open comb plate is... I have a couple favorites that are OC. I may have to get a B OC plate down the road

Thanks, Primo. It was my first straight and one of my favorites.

You know, I tried to PIF that NOS Hydro-Magic to @Bird Lives and it wasn’t easy. First, he tried to talk me out of it. No dice. Then he sent me a unique razor in return - under the theory, no doubt, that one good PIF deserves another.

Today I took possession of a private labeled Kampfe Bros Super Six. It’s a Stoll which was Sears and Roebuck’s brand.

It looks like it was the design inspiration for two of my favorite SEs - the 1914 and the 1924. It’s got a very funky clip that I’m not yet comfortable with but shaves super, super smooth and left me with that face rubbing goodness.
