Shavette Fu Multipost. Feel free to TLDR as you wish.
Opps, late night typo? Or a hurrying before heading out the door. I'm not sure when I posted. I know lots of folks like the bay rums. I've only had two or three products in my possession; Shave Secret preshave oil - slightly BR and useless for the intended purpose, a huge sample of Jeeves soap from Adam
@Drygulch - Great lather but couldn't do the scent, and a small bottle of Krampert's AS - Just not a scent I want to wear.
I might have to look into that PAA.
Hey David! Welcome to The 30 Day Crew. Activities breakdown into three main categories. The first two are for improving Technique; The Rule & The Focus. Neal gives the official stance in his Opening Statement or Post #1 to start the month. Do ask questions if one of those seems appropriate. On the third hand there's the Monthly Themes. Those can be worked into a Rule or Focus but when a New Shaver joins us they aren't asked to to a theme because they may not have that particular gear. The Themes more suit the Veteran or 30DC Member who has his Technique fairly well worked out but chooses to hang out, coach and/or cheer on others. Feel free to choose your own plan, play along with the suggested Theme, or do an Unfocused Focus where you change gear as suits your mood. That last one helps when someone is feeling too regimented, has some Real Life deal that precludes normal shaving activities, or just doesn't play well with others. There's also a Detention Room where no cookies or ice cream are served. Ask Bill
@Edison Carter about that.
Clint's suggestion is a path to Minimalism. Only 30DC Member I've seen actually do it is Dale
@PanChango but he was already there so it didn't happen in this room full of Enablers.
"Just have fun" is December's theme? It's all good.
I do like the style elements of that particular piece Charlie. Very clean and functional.
Off to google some more...
That's a new one on me Jim. I've got a bit of Dutch heritage but don't get to bring it out much. One of my favorite Chef / Entertainers has
a recipe for it.
Humm, I've got a sugar dish of Frankensoap. It's kind of amazing what happens when you make a batch. The mystery of how the scent or lather qualities may change. Going to have to dig my out. Thanks Patrick!
I did, think the tallow went rancid from setting on the store shelf too long. One of the few soaps I actually threw away.
Thanks Danny..."NT"?
Or they are single guys with sinus infections. Not you Joe
@Trigger. Ever get any scent love with that Stirling Glastonbury? Maybe I'll send you some Bay Rum in trade?
