Today is not a happy day for us because it’s my Dad’s birthday and he would have been 97 so we’re going to the cemetery to visit him and I’ll recite the memorial prayers for him. I wasn’t going to struggle with the Shark blade again since it was so dull so I got rid of it and put in my last new Wilkinson and what a difference - three passes gave me a perfect BBS shave which was so easy as well as enjoyable. The Roseline soap smells lovely - the scent is not as close to the Williams stick as I had first thought - yes, there are similarities but to my nose the Roseline has a slightly more earthy note to it which makes it smell more manly. The lather worked up rich, very slick, and gave me terrific blade glide. My good friend Dave has a wonderful balm which is so moisturizing as well as soothing. This shave could not have been any better.

I am not a Sterling Virgin any more: tested a Stirling soap for the very first time.
I had read mechanically it was very good.
I felt fragrance somewhat curious: it seemed me the American interpretation of a British classic scent...

Hey Friends,

after coming home from a hard days work, i needed my Shave. So, here is what i've used:

Razor: Merkur 1904 OC
Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium
Soap: Phoenix and Beau Spitfire
Brush: RazoRock Barber 24
Aftershave: CH Pitralon
Pomade: Shear Revival Crystal Lake

Great shave!!! This razor has been Cerakoted so i think, that it glides better than a "non cerakoted" razor, but maybe it's just my imagination.

Super smooth and gentle.

Did i tell you, how much i love the scent of this soap?! The scent reminds me of an old, comfortable wing chair in a room full of books. Heavenly!!!

So, this beeing said, i wish everyone a great Sunday and a great start into the new week.
