i spent 3 years holed up in a basement suite after my second..had the kids some weekends .was a struggle but got through it..builds character.now i have been with my present wife for 18+ years now.was glad to find myself and not carry the past into the present..everyone heals differently..my biggest loss at that time was the family unit..thankfully kids are now adults and we get along well..i too moved back to my hometown{not birthplace) and then a few miles away afterwards .i work there everyday..full circle..good times ahead sir..

I believe in my motto, it's your shave, do it your way. With that, I disagree that blooming is a consequence of using the wrong brush. Their are hard soaps that need to be bloomed to get a lather that doesn't dissipate during a pass. Williams mug soap is notorious for it. I bloom soaps because I use the bloom water as a preshave and it is easier to facelather. Sometimes, I don't bloom soaps just to change it up. Bottomline: Whatever works for you is what's truly important.
