Nice Set-up. I have a couple of pucks of Vintage Shulton shave soap, but havent used them. Too much of a collectable. How is it????
That's been my problem in a way-I have a Burma Shave cake, but only one shave from it thus far(it's more of a cold-weather soap-to me anyway). I'll get going with it this fall&winter.
It’s good. Lathers real well. No scent but I’ll live with it. Found it in a great antique shop in Thomasvillle NC. I got a good deal on the brush cup and soap. A decent score. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SUNDAY'S SHAVE Razor - Gillette Red Tip Superspeed circa 1955-1960 (Re-plated in Satin-Nickel Finish and re-painted tip in Radiant Red color by Razor Emporium.) Blade - *2nd shave Shave Brush - Ever-Ready 1960's vintage (Polished and re-knotted with a synthetic 26mm Ubersoft II knot from Envyshave by Razor Emporium.) Shave Stand by by Desire Metal Works Suds - Proctor & Gamble Old Spice "Original" Cream (Made in India) *I dried it out for months into a hard soap. Aftershave - Proctor & Gamble Old Spice "Classic" Deodorant - Proctor & Gamble Old Spice "Classic" Fragrance - Proctor & Gamble Old Spice "Classic" Cologne ***EDIT - Solid 2-pass + clean up shave. BBS with just a smidge of residual irritation. I did go a bit far with the clean up and, as usual, it's my fault that there was any irritation at all, but it's very minor and the aftershave stung and tightened that skin right up and it's feeling better every hour afterwards.
August 25 G3 Gillette Slim Feather (4) 30 DC LE handle with Tuxedo knot C.O. Bigelow Alum, Thayers WH, USB & Clubman Two passes and a few touch ups with my wide open birth quarter Slim provided a near-BBS result. With this shave, I finished the equivalent of two large tubes of C.O. Bigelow shave cream. I highly recommend this product if you're looking for excellent performance (easy lathering, good protection and slickness) combined with a refreshing shot of menthol. It's a top-tier, excellent bang for the buck shaving product, IMO. I hope you all are enjoying some downtime this weekend.

I will be coming off a shave with the Gillette Red Tip on Sunday. So, this will be quite the test for the blade. The Spoiler in shave #1 seemed to shave better than any other blade. This will be round 2. I'm hoping "The Spoiler" keeps delivering with this difficult razor. It because it will give me a permanent solution to the tough shaves it gives.

Great photo, Clint! I really like my Karve, but at present I’m getting better shaves with my new Hawk! There’s definitely something to these AC blades. Enjoy your shaves, Jeff
