Good morning gents,Monday it is again.i pulled out the #44 flat bottom tech set and loaded a gsb blade.had to go with the barrister's waves again..awesome stuff.got a fireking bowlful of great waves lather with the wcs synthetic brush.then proceeded with a 3 combination pass shave, smooth with no drama ,resulting in a fine dfs++shave..always happens first time with the techs as i lose track of the angle after a period of not using one..no complaints though.cold water rinse and barrister's waves aftershave to finish.today's edt will be nautica voyage, applied just before going to work..i don't check in here too much during work these days as i get quite busy..but i'll be back..have a fantastic day everyone..
  2. Love that GEM CP!
If you're able, take 2, if you have 2 sacrificial razors. 2 tucks of blades.
Close your eyes, take your time, this will bring your technique to a whole new level.
    Good luck.
    10 days sound exciting.

  4. Thank you Charlie. I feel like someone has a knife in my stomach. I messed up and ate some pop corn. I just hope this is not a diverticulitis attack. I’m at a client site today so I’ll hang as long as I can.

  9. Interesting razor, Danny. Nice setup and picture. Yes, a nice steady rain today in Alabama. Much needed as the central portions are in high drought conditions.
  10. Great shave and recap Danny. The Option 5 is a great razor for a new convert. If you get tired of it, you can use it to convert someone at work.

The correct water to soap ratio is the secret. A brush will only hold so much lather, depending on type and design.
Bowl lathering is a way to get lots of lather. I like the feeling of the brush as it whips up the lather on my face and head.
That means I need to get more soap on my brush, then re-lather, between head and face shaves.
    Thats my way....
