  3. I just bought a pair of shave ready C-MON razors on EBay. One is a Peter J Michels/Brooklyn and I bought it because I was born there. s-l400-11.jpg s-l400-10.jpg s-l400-9.jpg s-l400-8.jpg s-l400-7.jpg

  5. Thanks, Gary! They certainly are cool. Every straight in my den has either black, cream or white scales, save one. I just wanted to add some color to my den. Lol!
  6. Another lost lonely razor showed up to my door.

  7. Puma
    13/16+
    1/2 Hollow

Just in, from France. The blade is a little chippy, and has a little corrosion, but it looks repairable. In measuring this razor, it was almost a 7/8th blade. Puma is generous with their steel.

  8. Puma
    11/16+ inch
    1/4 Hollow
    Germany

Another, from France today. It is supposed to be a 5/8th, but, again, Puma is very generous with their measurements, and steel. This one looks to need very little work. Also, looks like it hardly touched a hone. Both the razors obtained today, were bough for a fraction of what it would cost, in the USA.
These are my first PUMA razors. Hope they live up to their reputation.

  15. Thanks. The smaller one will require a small amount of work, to bring back to life, mostly on the backside.
I've never tried a Puma before.

You’ll like the Pumas Scott, I have one like the second, it’s a heavier grind. The first one is probably hollow like the Filarmonica it looks like.

I have this poor thing on the way, cracked blade so no one would bid on it, but the scales are nice.... :)

  20. Yes, the Ivory scales are nice, but, angling the heal end would eliminate the crack, and give it a sleek Japanese look. That would save the entire razor.
