Dale, nice post and shave. I am a headshaver and don't use a mirror to shave the back of my head because I do it by feel. Shaving your face w/o a mirror shouldn't be a problem. You just have to feel for residual stubble after each pass until you feel smooth. The difficulty would be landing the razor without cutting yourself. I would keep the cap flush on the face and slowly lift until the razor cuts whiskers and continue shaving at that angle.

Two weigh too much. I passed on the tuckaway case with ikon tuckaway handle because of the weight. Just one razor in a plastic case. I have feather portable and a bakelite gillette tech case. The head just needs to be comfy and easy to use with no mirror and tired hands.

Clubman does have some ingredient that leaves a nice face feel. If the user and Significant Other can abide the strong barbershopiness of the scent, there's much to applaud for how it lingers and nourishes my face.
A departure from most DE & Gem type SE handles that are simple cylinders with or without knurling. Schicks, Kamisori, and SR offer indexing - a handle shape that lets the user feel angle adjustments. With the cap off
I see similarities to the Merkur Futur styling. The blade ends are covered by tabs or turned down flaps. The little outriggers protect from heel and toe - the corners of the blade. Some nice design touches that would benefit a recent Cart convert.

@clint64, hope your stomach feels better. I know you are working, but take it a little easier than usual, my friend.

    Good Monday, Gentlemen!

I started my week with a new product, T&H Sandalwood shave cream, for a very enjoyable shave. It takes a great deal of water and works into a very proper English lather using a proper English brush. (@brit's chest is protruding like a proud Dad.) The scent is delicate and pleasant, and it's a nice change of pace from the C.O. Bigelow menthol hit. The Kent easily whipped up more lather than I needed for 2+ trips around the mug, save the eyebrows.

A BBFNBBS© shave inevitably resulted using tried and true focus gear. Mos def! All rights reserved.

    Happy Monday!

Course I had the Gent's Gin this morning, not the Original,. but Doc Pinaud is standing there on both, so you do have a point :).
