August Adjustable Totally Unpretentious Frankensoap Diversion

2019 30DC Meet Up Limited Edition brush by @jtspartan
Ceramic Suribachi bowl via @Sparrow, cool tap water
Gillette Slim (H2) on setting Nine, Voskhod DE blade
English Leather After Shave Lotion, circa 1999 or later
SOTD 08262019.gif Reminded and inspired by Patrick @9nein9 , I dug out my ends and pieces collection of soaps. Which soaps? Dunno, been to long since I mushed them into the bowl. Still they gave a fragrant lather with great slickness & residual slip. Jason's custom crafted handle of Poculi fitted with a SynBad knot from APShaveCo made quick work of loading the assorted chunks. Easy going from loaded brush through the bowl, onto my face. Three passes with the less than pristine old DE. Somewhere out there in the world are a number of folks shaving with some Slims in great condition that I traded away. This is just the last one I picked up, and worst looking I recall. Still it's fully functional and honestly it does shave nearly as good as my fav Fat Boy. So the Russian steel of unknown uses did fine, left me DFS including the lower neck trouble zone. Only needed one dose of AS. That big bottle has a molded in restrictor. Size - big.
    Good Shaves Y'all!

Thanks. Taking the train back. Providing nothing goes wrong and I don't need a rest day, the trail should be 5 or 6 days plus a day detour for friends mid way and a day with other friends when I finish near DC.
