My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #144 Brush. I did two passes with the Gillette Double Ring Razor with a Gillette Silver Blue Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The serial number of this double ring, 225238, indicates that it was made in 1905.
This razor is 114 years old. Wow.

LASS Woody Lavender today. 20 seconds to load the Ever-Ready 50R/TGN Premium Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette “Spoiler” Super Stainless blade still in the Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Clubman Whiskey Woods aftershave.

Pity I 'cleaned' too much the handle of my Pal!
