Sounds terrific, Joseph! Are you saying that the vermouth must be Carpano? I'm not sure that brand is readily available here. I get Gallo, Martini and Rossi, and Noilly Prat at the grocery and liquor stores. I just grab whatever is available. I'll look for Carpano the next time I'm in Florida or Atlanta as their selection is far superior to Alabama.

And, of course, the Luxardo cherries are unreal.

 

To celebrate Joe's @Trigger 100-100 shaves I finally polished out the trusted 6S. She will be up for tomorrow morning's shave.

Good to hear the numbers are up. I've been reduced to borrowing single ear rings from my granddaughters. Nice sterling silver post with a garnet since we shave birthstones. Keep playing Randy as you do so well. If he figures out what's going on, then we'll jump him in. For an Ice Cream Guy he's pretty chill.

If I have the geometry right (Relax guys, it's not Algebra this time.) when you adjust a Gillette the base plate lowers as numbers go up. If you already ride the cap number 9 is a breeze.

Humm, see what I mean? Now we got flashlights in Shave Photos! When will the madness end? Uhh... is that the same one Charlie @wristwatchb posted? How many lumens and what's the battery life like? Plastic lens or hard crystal? Nevermind, I'm still shopping for a Russian watch; 22mm lugs, either manual or automatic but for sure mechanical, glowy spots and a date thingie. Am I gibbering yet?

If I start the thread, as the Original Poster it would look like it was my ideas.

Ahem. Keith? I see numbers on everything but the watch. How can I look it up if I don't know who made it? I know I've viewed a photo of that very one amongst the thousands already in my overfilled bookmarks file.

 

Great shave and it is awesome to be able to shave with your grandfather's Slim. Let us know if the seductive scent balm works. ......there may be a rush to the store!

I could use one of those. My dad actually brought me a bottle of his barrel aged Manhattan last time he came down. I may just fix myself a glass in a bit.
