    I got a couple of cheap Chinese ones for practice. I can shave with them, still rough though. Not sure I'd recommend it.

    If you are concerned about it, you can always buy a couple of vintage razors on ebay to grind on. They're readily available for under $10 and are typically a lot less wonky than gold dollars. Having said that, if you use one of your razors, you'll likely be much more careful with it and be just fine.

    Hate the twist on/off.
    Hate that the switching which requires regular beatings.
    Batteries last.
    On my hip every day.
    Love the light it throws.
    Listed as 275 lumens.

    Not going to a flashlight forum!

    Do I need to 'up my game'?

    Awesome shave this morning guys. First run with the polished 6S and the shave is slightly smoother. The 6S does looks great shiny. The Razorock WTP soaps are good performers and a great value. Italian Barber also has the 400 Noir Plissoft Synthetic brush back in stock for $22.99. You will not find a better brush for the money. Solid aluminum handle and a great synthetic knot that is a lather monster. O.K. my attempt at enabling is over. At least I am not trying to sell you something. See the resident 30DC salesmen Charlie @wristwatchb if you need something. He has everything for sell except razors. Rumor has it he is kin to Mr. Haney.


    Completed two passes with a few touch ups and this shave was in the bag. No weepers or nicks. Finished up with some Nivea post balm and a splash of Clubman Classic.

    Y’all have a great day. It is still wet in Alabama today.

    That is the same one I use and it works well enough. I do find myself using a headlamp more frequently and leave one in my car. It is nice to be able to use both hands if needed.

    I wouldn't mind a nicer flash light, but don't want to spend on it.
