Still rolling with the NEW LC. For whatever reason, it had been quite some time since I pulled a Jeeves soap (yes, Paul @Paul Turner , this is one of the old 7oz tubs) out of the cabinet. One of my favourite lathers for sure with a pleasant, albeit fairly light scent. This is such an easy shaver; I'm not completely smooth, but certainly not very far from it. Finished with the Fern, which is much better on its own rather than trying to compete as a fougere combo with Felce Aromatica.
    Have a great day all!

BBFNBBS©, and the Clubman is on the run. Actually, it's more like a very slow walk. I barely have another year's worth. I hope it doesn't dissolve the bottle before I finish it.

    Have a wonderful day, gentlemen!

Gladly, Master Fancypants. I took the liberty of replacing your crystal beaker with a freshly chilled example from cold storage. I tested the Imperial Russian Stout out of the tap on my wrist to ensure the proper temperature.

I laid a silk cloth across the seat so that you can remain tidy while riding that detestable contraption. Remember, you need to be back by mid-day. You need your nap before mother accompanies you to ballet and piano lessons in the afternoon.

    At your service,
    Danger

Amazing what you can get past security in detention these days. Probably helps in solitary confinement, though. The natural light wasn't great in those cells the last time I was there. :)

I've had Maglites for years...great tools. If the hipsters hadn't gotten involved in artificial illumination, they'd still be considered top of the line.

Congrats on the new razor, Terry!
Love the blues, Jim. Is that a glass-bottled AV?
You've reminded me with this pic that I have to get my Zeniths transplanted and into the rotation...
Awesome looking combo, Gary. Love the look of that Sheraton and the soap sounds like a winner.
Very nice shave, Perry. The I1 isn't as glamourous as some of the earlier injectors, but is a fine shaver. My I1 has solely held vintage Personna twins (thanks again, @Screwtape!) the past few years. I wonder if it is 'stretched out' too much for a regular injector blade now even.
Another stunning pic, Clint. Yes, you are right, this week is flying by... and hasn't reached 'trash can fire' on my end yet, either.
Nice shave, Danny. I love those 400 style brushes. I've held out for the original, but maybe I'll just pick up one of those ones instead.
Very nice, Jim. I've not heard of that AS. Is it new? Local in your area?
Awesome, Charlie! I can't speak to Clubman dissolving glass, but I do know from personal experience it can double as drain cleaner...and I'm not joking.

Thank you, Clint! My reports are pretty lame, not much to say most days so I try to make up for it with my pictures.

    Mike's Hungarian Lavender~~Simpson CH2 Synthetic~~1947 Gillette Super-Speed~~Personna 74~~Soap Commander Wisdom
Gotta say it: Dollar for dollar, Mike's soaps are THE best value on the market.

Superb soap base. No-nonsense, straightforward, not overly-complicated "fru-fru" scents.
If you don't know Mike's, you are missing out.
Today's soap was Hungarian Lavender. As a huge lavender fan, I always enjoy lathering up this soap.
"In your face" lavender...pure and simple and most importantly, pleasing.

The CH2 synthetic ripped into the soap, which was appropriately bloomed, and took on a massive load.
Directly to the face, lots of H2O, lots of super-sudsy-slick lather.
The '47 SS skated around my face, buffing 'til the cows came home.
Didn't even need a second lathering, but I didn't want to waste the product, so on it went.
ATG buffing all over and needless to say, the baby was apprehended.
Yes, this is the same blade that I have been using since April.
Granted, I use a straight more often than not. Still...amazing.
Grabbed the SC balm, which usually resides in my dopp kit. First, I splashed on a healthy dose
of Thayer's Medicated Witch Hazel, allowed that to dry and then applied the balm.
Good combo. Face, besides looking especially handsome, was smooth and refreshed.
