Tons of fun today. Thanks wheather man. I was up earlier than normal, i think im getting old. To calm my day, i figured figaro. still with granddad's slim, same blade, dialed down to 5. Same results. That's a gyp, technique stole my adjustability. Im gonna go to 3 tomorrow. Hope y'all did as well, or better.

Well, it might as well have been Halloween with my shave this morning. We already know the cap for my Stoylin Glacial SDM is cracked. And now just before application of same following my shave, I knocked it over, probably spilling some onto the sink. But once it was back in standing form, I got a good post-shave from it(well, that's expected anyway). The shave itself was good, but I once again missed a spot on the right cheek. No wonder I'm a lefty!! But I'll end in a way I like...poking fun at muhself. For the last few shaves, I've been lifting the frames of my glasses so I could knock off the sideburns that were growing in a weird way-EAST TO WEST, not North to South. Ever know anyone yanked by his sideburns? That mighta been me if I wasn't careful to avoid it!!

Holy Crap! I'm watching last night's "Forged In Fire" and, for the first round, the bladesmiths have to make a Canister Damascus blade . The canister is being made from parts of a barber chair and will contain steel from various barber tools including straight razors, box razors, and hair clippers. Sadly, no Chinese or Czech DE blades.
Still here, BTW. Last couple of shaves, I've been a bit lazy and just grabbed the MingShi 3000S since it already had a Spoiler in it. Great shaves, though.
