The original Blackbird came out of the hanger for a comparison...

The rounding of the brass does make for an easier shave, but great results from both. So maybe a mashup next... ;)

I have always wanted one if the ones that use the artist club blades. Are they any good?

I’m patiently awaiting the release of the new revised Vector! Shane said to expect them in September or October.

    Enjoy your shaves,

I have a RR Green Hulk Hawk that uses AC blades. I really like the shave it delivers. I’ve never used a Vector, but all the reviewers rave about it. I had an Oren AC razor, but didn’t care fore it, large, bulky and awkward to use, particularly around my goatee. I like AC razors that are manoeverable which the Vector promises. Am on shave #8 with my Kai Mild Pink blade with the Hawk. I’ve been alternating with my Karves.

    Enjoy your shaves,

    Jeff

Revised Vector? I couldn't find any info on that. I did see he's planning a re-release of the Tradere in the next month or two and the Vectors should be back in stock soon but nothing about revisions to it. Do you have a link?
The Vector is an awesome razor as is. Love mine.

I'm sorry, I believe it will be the same razor. Here is a copy of the relevant section of the email I received from Shane.

    "Hi Jeff,

Thank you for your interest. The Vector will definitely be returning! It is currently in production and we expect to have them back in stock in a few weeks. As soon as we have a more precise timeline I will announce that via email newsletter and social media.

I hope that helps, Jeff. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

    Thank you!

Didn't mean to mislead. I'll be more than happy to get my hands on the same razor.

    Enjoy your shaves,

    Jeff

I'll report back on my experience with the Vector after it's arrival. God bless you! One of my earliest memories, about age 5, back in the early 50's was watching my pop shave. One of the highlights of the experience was when he removed the blade from what I now know is a Gillette Slim, soaped up my face and let me shave. I still have that Slim, and have never shaved with it with the exception of that one and only practice shave in 1952.

Enjoy your shaves, and your twins,

    Jeff
