I just received my 2 C-Mon razors today and decided to shave with one of them. I bought them on EBay and the seller listed them as shave ready. Shave ready was an understatement because the razor was wicked sharp. I am assuming the other one is also. 20190828_131930.jpg 20190828_131930.jpg

Last 4 shaves, #24 on the blue Filly 14 Sub Cero edge longevity test, still very strong, next 3 all with a NOS Cape 1372 Swedish Steel getting broken in on 9 finishing stones sent to me for funsies by a good friend. Details in the honing thread.

Today’s shave, Cape 1372 and SMN lathered with a TOBS Super Badger in an Aesop bowl, and a bit of Musgo Classic finished things up. Great shave.

The picture does not show it but this razor has a smile, it is 6/8 Riga Razor with a wickedly sharp edge :)

#25 on the Filly 14 Sub Cero longevity test, soap was Reef Point Admiralty lathered with a M&F Alibaba in Finest, and a splash of Agua Balsamica finished up a dolphin smooth shave. The edge is going strong. Reef Pont is one of the few artisan soaps that I wish I had bought a few more tubs of, and Admiralty is a very good fragrance.

I would say the seller is living in a fantasy world. It never ceases to amaze me how any one person expects to sell a piece of garbage for an exorbitant price. I wouldn't want it even if it was given to me for free. I guess the seller is looking for a sucker. His best bet is to buy a lollipop.
