1. A wonderful shave, by a little known manufacturer(to me anyway). I had a perfectly smooth, and precise 2 pass shave, no touch-ups, that left me BBS. Very nice razor. Very hard and sharp Silver Steel.

Razor- Gebr.Becker. "Silver Steel". Solingen Germany.
Brush- J.R.#262(@Jayaruh ). Ebony/Birdseye Maple. Whipped Dog Silvertip Badger
Soap- Arko/Sandalwood Scented. Pairs nicely with the Aftershave.
Aftershave- Vintage Avon Spicy. Country Vendor Decanter.

  2. Sent this message to the seller:
You might want to consider revising your stated condition of this broken, trashed razor.
    His response:
You might want to move along and mind your own damn business
    My response:
On my way. Good luck with the sale.
  3. That’s a beauty Scott!

  6. Thanks.
Previously owned be J.J.Thomas. At least that is what was scratched into the scales.
  7. I offered $5. The scales looked nice.
  8. I have been saving the SK3 for Friday, since this is smiling razor week and this razor has the perfect amount of smile for me.

  10. :p
  11. I know!!! He should be selling the scales.
BTW, just got off the phone with Ebay. Reported the scoundrel.
  12. :)
  13. Someone silly enough to buy it, and pay that much money, wont get much sympathy from me.
    But, the scales look nice.
  14. I actually have an empty vintage Red Point box in good condition. He can have it for $275.
  15. Heck, at that price I’d throw in the razor, which is quite good.
  16. Good! I know they can't catch every ludicrous post, but that one needs to be revised to selling the scales. I have scratched my head on ads for every day items at list prices of many thousands of dollars. I guess some people have super sized brass ones and I am not talking about knuckles.

I’m going with Joseph Feist as the maker

Two new toys, a lot of stropping, then just a quick shave test on the neck. Passed with flying colors, but room for improvement on the factory edges.
  19. Some great looking blades gentlemen.
