I used up a couple of Craftsman 7-1/4" circular saws while working as a residential frame carpenter. Not bad for a weekender, and that was 20 or 25 years ago. Now I have an old Milwaukee #6390. It's a pro saw almost as tough as a Mikita. Those tools will fall off a roof and take no damage.

I do cool water shaves in the summer now. I tested it last month and decided to stick with it. I will be back to warm and then hot as the weather turns. For me it is more about comfort, I good shaves with cool lather and with hot lather. The only trick with hot lather is using soaps that hold up in hot water.

    Adjustable Arko August!!

    August 29

    Razor - 1959 (E4) Gillette Fatboy (9)
    Blade - [IMG] (2)
    Soap - Arko
    Brush - Semogue 1305
    Post - Alum

Keeping the Fatboy out for another run with the second shave on the Voskhod. Went from the Omega to the Semogue 1305 and got a very nice lather. Brush is breaking in well and gets better every shave. Nice addition to the den for sure. Three passes to a near-BBS and that's plenty good for me today. Went to a new gastroenterologist today and we've scheduled an MRI on my pancreas for couple weeks down the road plus an upper GI scope to check things out from that end. Been awhile since I've eaten a scope but I'm pretty sure I remember the routine. It will be interesting to see what things look like in there after several years without a picture. Might scare me to death. Friday has arrived once again, or is about to. The weekend is right over there. Go get it!

Jim @jluc must be waxing those tools. We'll get him to give up the secret yet.
Not a down side! You will be able to shave with any razor, long as it's not defective.

Sorry I'm late to the party. Very busy last couple days.
Love this soap albeit , its a bit thirsty. I pick up soap out of tin with the brush then face lather . May try just scooping a bit out then applying to face then hitting it with the brush next time . The scent is pleasant and lasting.
    See you next time .
