This particular E2 had not been used much when I got it, so compared with my careworn US -E2 it is a very smooth performer.Needing a fresh blade for todays Shave I had an Eureka moment I had some NOS Schick Blades referred to as being "The Dogs Danglies". So loaded up with a Dutch Schick and a slippery lather, I had an incredibly smooth Shave with superb close all round finish - a "Face Stroker". A NOS Injector blade that IMHO is the best ever produced by Schick. I shall be careful how I use them, and probably ration them to certain favourite Razors.

A little bit of a harsh shave, slight sting from the aftershave. I'm hoping the new blade smooths out next time.

Great looking SE razors all.

 

A great shave today with my Gem Jr. Bar and an excellent @Jayaruh handle!!! 3 VERY comfortable and close passes....and that's with a brand new GEM SS PTFE blade, which can be harsh, but was tamed by this razor today. Here's the setup and pic:

Pre-Shave: Cold water shave
Razor: Gem Jr Bar
Blade: GEM SS PTFE (1)
Soap: Arko
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Moka Synth
Aftershave: Krampert's Finest Frostbite

Though not as smooth as yesterdays Shave with a fresh Dutch Schick, I am more than happy with Todays Shave, the quality of overall finish being excellent.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Proraso Sandalwood Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #144 Brush. I did two passes with the TNNSER 3D Razor with a CVS CS Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Ummm, Jim -- that is one VERY different looking Enders! Is this a test...or perhaps a typo?

 

It is neither. It is a joint effort between @riverrun and myself. I decided to see how the TNNSER would work using 3D printing. Andreas had a lot of input and he designed the cool Enders style handle.

I think it matches it fantastically. As Jim is the caretaker of the original TNNSER he is testing the 3D version.

I've been admiring Vector razors from afar. Shane is set to release a new batch in the next month or two. I'm torn between the Vector and the new Brass Colonial General that's coming out in the same time frame. Have you shaved with a General? If so, how does the shave compare to your Vector?
