Aannnd, it's here, the soap&AS combo of Weekend Rodeo from Central Texas Soaps. At first glance..the AS bottle is an attractive blue color. The leather is quite WARM, which surprised me a bit but after all it came from Texas in the summer. The leather doesn't smell as "strong"(whatever that means)as the Russian version from the TSD store(I'm down to probably 2 or 3 more shaves with that), but it's quite good. And now, just as I received this, Greg(Smith, the owner)sent out a Labor Day sale (15% off all items). Ahhhh, I'll wait for another sale to get the Clean Shave handsoaps. These products are just perfect for those "single-digit" days in the winter. Course I'm sure I'll use them when it's a bit warmer, too. Happy shaver here.

    Good news.

Two if my kids took right to potty training and then all of the sudden refused to go just like you are saying. It took a bit, but they got right back to it, and it didn't seem to have anything to do with us. It was just them choosing to go.

Glen did an incredibly awesome job with the scales replacement/restoration. When he asked if I wanted him to try to move the logo/writing....of course I had to say yes. Came out very nice. He was able to set the logo/writing into the scales a bit (or maybe they are really thin).

The blade was already in great condition, didn't look like it ever had or needed any restoration when I purchased from a vendor out of the UK back in April. Before sending to Glen, I shaved with it a few times, honed/stropped it, but the scales situation just kind of 'sad', regardless of it shaving well.

Of course, Glen shined up the blade even more, and put a 'buttery smooth' sharp edge on it.

I thought thermodynamics states that within any defined boundary, entropy can only stay the same or increase? Yours is a more elegant explaination :)

I don't bloom because i feel it is fundementaly the wrong solution to an unnesseary problem. That is, soft brushes for soft soap and stiffer brushes for harder soaps. There is a blurring at the boundaries, but at the extremes (where i am) it isn't a problem that should exist.

Thank you, Danny! It's not only that I am happy about this shave. It's rare to find decent C-Mon razors that are shave ready for the price on EBay. I really stepped into it.

Yet again..... I have to remember. No drinks in hand, or in my person, when reading Danny's posts....else they end up on shirt and/or bright screen out nose.

Thank you, Joseph! I didn't like the slight on my explanation of entropy by saying it was posh from BlueShaver! I explained it so that everyone can easily understand the concept because 99% of the members don't have the background.

I don't drink but I think I need a cookie.....my head hurts from the blooming debate, discussion, dissertation, talk or what ever else you call it. All I want to do is shave and all of this thinking hurts. Where is Charlie @wristwatchb and Terry @Terry when you need them.:scared011:

Thank you for the compliment, BlueShaver. Now, adding more force on the brush and accelerating the swirl will increase the amount (mass) on the brush to give you a better lather.
    In keeping with scientific concepts:
    Force (F) = Mass (M) × Acceleration (A)

Thanks Blair..........just trying to have a little fun. If that new razor ever gets dull send to me and I will sharpen it up on my new rock. I have not mounted the motor yet but I am figuring about a horse and half should do it!

It wasn't a slight. In fact it was a compliment. Posh as in elegant and detailed.

I seem to be rubbing you lot up the wrong way. I will give the forum a rest for tonight!

Thanks for the explanation. I took it as a sarcastic remark and I apologize. Please forgive me! Just to let you know, this bunch has marvelous people and always are willing to help. When some of us give advice based on our experience and it isn't even tried or at least acknowledged that you may use it, it can cause some of us to be a little ruffled. Also, saying blooming is cheating implies that some of us cheat and that does not win brownie points. I am not perfect and I think you are a nice guy so I really don't have a beef with you. Really, in the scheme of things, it's shaving and not a life and death situation. Now, I hope this will not keep you from staying involved with this thread. Also, we go by first names here because it brings to it a feeling of camraderie. My name is Joe! Peace out!

@Primotenore was kind enough to send me the link a very nice vermouth. I stopped by Whole Foods on the way home to pick up a bottle since Perry thought they carried the brand. Unfortunately I don't have Rye on hand tonight but will remedy that tomorrow. Don't worry, I have an ample other choices.

We have on in Dad's shop on the farm that's pedal powered
