    Ii has been hit or miss for me with the Putali, depending on the blade and how it is loaded. Actually I have never used Feathers in any of my slants, purely out of fear.

    Ok James, I got that, but once your technique is down pat, a Feather blade will tune it. I like feathers for any DE razor. They run smooth, cut clean, but don't last long. I use any blade only once, then it hits the bin. But to each their own, I too was once afraid of the mighty Feather, but we've become best buds.

    I do know that any blade will not last as long when used in a slant razor.

    That looks like a pic of the Ikon 102 slant, of which I have. In any case, I’m curious how you like the x3 which I have considered recently. Thanks.
