that should have the holt screw in the handle.you can get the screwdriver or make one..seen on a few places on line.then you can disassemble and clean it..holt tool -or b and b says you can file a groove in the center of a small thin flat bladed screwdriver..the screw has left handed threads..

Looks like I could take a flat end screw driver against the corner of a grinding wheel and cut a "V" into the end of a screw driver. Is that what I am seeing?

Gary, we could make the Gillete a co project between us. I have never disassembled one and you already have given me some great info. I was thinking of painting the MMOC but I think a blasted finish on the SS would be interested like you had mentioned. It appears to be around a 1950 SS, were those all brass?

Also, I might add that you have be careful bead blasting thin material. The media will shot ping and distort thin material especially things like jar lids, etc.

It would be interesting seeing a bead blasted finish on Super Speed. Thanks on the LH thread tip.

Merci Joseph! The blades were Feather Artist Club Professionals. I used one in that gold tone Chinese clone of a shavette. Cheap blade holder with highly recommended blades.
    Thank you Jim!
Thanks Danny! Adjustables were fun. Single Edges will be, too. I'm well prepared for Open Combs this time around. See ya in the funny papers! ;)

Oh, I was going to go with ionic salts being hydrophilic juxtaposed with non-polar long hydrocarbon chains with their characteristic hydrophobic personalities,
Or pineapple on pizza. I already know where I stand on the Anchovies debate.
I know this topic frustrates you Paul. I'd ask one more question - can you plug your phone into your computer? That's a direct way to poke around and copy / paste file like photos. Of course I'm coming from an Android phone / Windows computer background.
Convergence of technology much? Give it a couple more years and you'll be e-mailing from your refrigerator.
He did offer links to several NATO watch strap makers. I can google, but I'm here in 30DC land to pick the brains of those that came before me. Watches are just another facet. Who knows how deep the Charlie Rabbet Hole goes?
Huh, so Charlie... are you the Official 30DC Historian that we misplaced?
I'll check in with you in the SEptember thread. There's still CT's to be brainstormed.
Is that like the mythical Fischer Price phone I've been looking for?
Thanks Danny. Bottom end of a Shavette Fu and I think you were talking about the watch?
