  1. cool shave sir..
  2. Schick C1, Schick blade, shave 6

    c1.jpg

This razor shaves a lot like a type D but the shave was really harsh as far as blade feel and blade burn goes. It maybe due to this particular blade being no good from transferring it from one razor to another. I'll know more tomorrow when I use my C2 which should shave the same but hopefully better with a Proline blade.

  3. I had a second shave today with this razor and a fresh proline blade. Much better shave, the other blade was dulled out was why the shave was so harsh. This razor like the B1 repeater I have is going to take a few shaves to dial in the exact angle. Right now it shaves like a type D with a really sharp blade feel to it.

  12. Sun 1st Sept

    Jayaruh Syn. No67
    L`Occitane Cade cream
    Occams V2 /No3 plate
    Feather Proguard [ 2 ]
    Floid Vigoroso A/S Lotion

Another Sunday out officiating so went for an easy option today. This Occams really makes for a relaxed Shave, despite being on the most aggressive plate, with a Proguard on board it Shaves so smoothly. Shave time is not prolonged by use of this blade, and in a very short time a good close all round Shave is attained. I have a feeling that I get better Shaves when using a soap rather than cream, I might tomorrow put that to the test.

    SE Sunday's Shave
    [IMG]

    Cold Water Rinse
    Proraso Sandalwood
    Jayaruh #144
    1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher
    Vintage Gem Cutlery SE
    CWR
    Florida Water

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Proraso Sandalwood Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #144 Brush. I did two passes with the 1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher razor with a Vintage Gem Cutlery SE Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
  15. Very nice gear. What razor blade do you use in the Enders Speed razor because they had proprietary blades for that time period to use in their unique razors.?
I might have to buy one down the road.
    Have some great shaves!

  17. Forgive the copy/paste response, but I get this question often...

It was @Jayaruh who first informed me about this modification. For more detail and pics of the execution, have a look at his pics and videos.

  18. Schick C2, Schick Proline B-20, shave 3

    C2.jpg

Much better shave today than with the C1. Seems these razors are very technique dependent. I used a less shallow angle with the very edge of the top cap only touching the face. Big difference in feel, razor was a lot more smooth and efficient. Also a lot closer almost BBS shave except for under the jawline. More practice and I think I can dial this and the other Schick repeaters to shave better. Tomorrow I will apply the technique adjustments to the C1.

  19. That TNNSER looks very cool.
    Thanks for sharing.

I really like the B1, I need to try a B20 in it when it's time to swap blades.

    Ooooo soooo beautiful!
  20. Second shave with the proline B20 in my Hydro-magic, this is an excellent razor and blade combination for me. Very comfortable shave.
