I would just say it is very efficient. It is easy to get the angle, and the handle makes it easy to maneuver. Maybe @twhite could be more informative.
It has a mild feel but it is very efficient. I would compare it to the Gem Gbar but very light and maneuverable. I can plow through a weeks worth of growth with ease Tom Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Heck where else are you going to get a 3D printed razor. You will be the envy of your block Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
What type of filament is the razor made from? How come the base plate and handle aren't printed as one piece? - Newbie to 3d printing and designing.
The filament is ABS type plastic. The process used for this particular 3D process is FDM. It squirts out a small continuous thread of molten plastic that bonds to itself. Think of a very fancy hot glue gun. I initially designed it so you can use any standard DE handle of your choice. You can still do that if you choose. @riverrun came up with the handle design. I think it goes with the head really nice. This is a very light razor. Around 19 grams with blade. Tom Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
What Tom said... But we are going with the ABA which is an upgrade from ABS since it has UV protection. With the handle separate, you can use many modern handles with the head. I found that I can use a variety of handles with the TNNSER 3D razor by using a 10-32 x 1/2 screw. Yep. Was just interested in the what and why. I've designed and printed a few things so far. Mostly diabetic-minded ideas of mine.

Does Fuzzy @wchnu still require the Pledge of Allegiance to Modern Williams? Joking!!! I've been a member over there for a bit. I like to look over Tom's @twhite shoulder when I hear he's tinkering. Now that Jim @Jayaruh is collaborating amazing things happen.
@Jayaruh Jim... I'm relieved to see that I missed the deadline for this over at that other site. I'm definitely tempted but don't have the funds right now. If there's a second run, let me know, would you? I might succumb at that point. Thanks.
Just a thought, maybe make a run of just the heads for people wanting to use their own handles. Especially if they desire a heavier razor.
Ok.... I really like the handle that came with it. I'm a head shaver, the lighter handle is a real plus, for me anyways.
