I love the look of these older Honda bikes. And anything build by Honda is bullet-proof. A buddy and I fixed up a CB 175 when we were teenagers, and one of the first little motorcycles I rode was a Honda 70. My last Honda was a 7 hp rear tine tiller.

I'm sure the Harley chick was just jealous of your Honda.

 

Just curious, is it common for Harley dealers to limit the sale of replacement parts to Harley owners? It sounds crazy, but this is actually the policy with one high-end watch manufacturer. I guess they figure it's a way to maintain some level of exclusivity with their brand and maintain their crazy prices.

If I start rummaging around in kitchen she gets suspicious of what I'm up to. Maybe I'll just ask for some nutmeg but tell her why first.

I want a shiny gold set if you have any available. I did lose a few teeth back in the day playing hockey....you know , the days before masks were cool but Bobby Clarke was.

Rick and I are either geniuses or idiots . The verdict is not out yet but we are enjoying the experiments until something goes wrong.

That is awesome, Charlie! We got some good time in this morning. After a long day of clean up around the house, I am going to grab a shower and then get some more cuddle time.

 

Those Honda 70s were tough . I mean tough.

Harley will sell you anything branded HD and will take body parts or kids as payment . What used to be a USA brand seems to have ventured offshore where labors cheaper. Shame on them.
I do know 1 thing. You could only buy a bike from them from a dealer in your zip code at one time due to protected franchise agreements. Our dealer here is not reputable so hence when the time came I bought a Saxon out of Arizona .

That is why they chrome plate um. Easier to find on the side of the road when they fall off. I had a friend that was following his buddy who was on his Harley when his horn fell off. He had to dodge it.
