    Pre: Cold water splash
    Brush: Semogue 610 Boar
    Soap: OSP Spice Road
    Razor: Cobra Classic
    Blade: Schick Proline P
Post: Cold water rinse, Old Spice ASL

    IMG_20190904_181509.jpg
This could possibly be my favourite hardware combo as long as the 610 doesn't begin to splay too much.
The soap isn't bad either. Although I find Stirling Spice to have a more preferable scent.
Smooth Shaves to one and all.

Well, the scotch tape has been cut and thus I begin a series of Throwback Thursday shaves. Each Thursday from today until the unforeseen future will consist of at least one product that got its start "back when men were men and women loved'em for it". For each item I use, I will list the year of its conception, if I know it. . With that, here is the opener for Throwback Thursday(tomorrow:

    prep-Nivea 4 Men Bodywash(Energy)-in shower.
shave-Razorock Lime Burst Soap(w Stoylin Frost Drops)
    brush-Boston Celtics Mascot
razor-Gillette Sensor Deuce Pivot + DisposeABLE
    A.S. Mennen Skin Bracer(1931).

Note: On some Thursdays, I might take the risk of "cheating" a bit. For instance, I could be using AV Musk Aftershave. Aqua Velva switched from mouthwash to after shave either 1925 or 1931(I'm sure Doc Weasel would have something to say about this), but still that throws us back to the Coolidge or Hoover Administrations depending on the year, but they didn't get going with Musk until much later. Besides, without the beginning of Aqua Velva itself, there'd be no AV Musk. This being said, I'll do the best I can with the product origins. I'll make some pertinent comments when origins might be questionable. Ahhhhh, it's just one day of the week, but it'll be fun.

Not my most expensive gear, but perhaps the best combo in my shave den: Rockwell 6s, Barristers Reserve Cool soap and EDC, StarCraft brush, Gillette Silver Blue, Aqua Velva. Very smooth shave today.

    Schick C2 Razor
    Personna PTFE Blade
    Ever-Ready #1 Boar Brush (restored)
Love My Skin Sailor's Delight Soap
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Shulton Old Spice After Shave

Such a very efficient razor that a few touch up strokes only needed water, no lather. Two Passes with a hint of touch up for an excellent BBS shave.

Thanks Martine. The Junichi Tanaka initially was in the photo but didn't look right so I removed it. Junichi Tanaka does whip up excellent lather:happy088:
