Do you prefer the scent or the unscented?

I like them both. I know the scent doesn't last much longer than it takes to dry but if I have one that matches the soap and aftershave of the day I'll use that.

Seems the witch hazel is more popular than I thought.

I use it as well (the distilled/alcohol version) for after a rough shave or if i have irritation or spots.

Awesome shave this morning with some solid hitters. The Parker CHST whipped up some nice yogurt this morning. The polished 6S took care if business. All is good in the Republic of Alabama!

I find it a great addition to my shaves as well. I've never used alum but I find the witch hazel does the trick nicely and quiets down the irritation when I get it.

I do wonder what, if anything, the WH does. For that matter, the percentage and quality is never mentioned on any packaging.

Same here . I need a shave bad today. Probably Proraso again today as I'm on a kick lately.
My bottle says cleanses and conditions skin without disturbing its natural moisture balance . Hmmm

My shave this morning began with a strange sensation-I had the Stoylin Frost Drops put in but still got a WARM feel as I was applying the Razorock. And this was with a very short blooming period. The overall shave was fine-one of those "Boy, do I need that second pass" shaves. As I recall, I didn't shake the Frost Drop vial(like Doc Ezlovan says we SHOULD do in his directions). I also didn't put too many drops in, but it looked like enough so as it would do it's "frost" job. I'll give more respect to the vial next time.I really enjoy my Razorock soap shaves, but it's tough to crack the xxxMilled Lime Burst. Still looks like a pancake. In the end, the Mennen Skin Bracer cooled things down some...no strange sensation with THAT.
