    Lovely shave Keith!
    Good you got along better with the 404. I must bowl lather these days for that very reason. I'd rather has consistent later for all three passes then thick dense lather on the first pass and varying degrees of thinner lather on the second and third pass. Plus I feel like I can push much more water into a soap while bowl lathering.

    Interesting. I add Glycerin to many splashes, but haven’t to Thayers. I use the alcohol free Witch Hazel Toner with Aloe, though.

    i add menthol crystals and glycerine to my thayers..i use the astringent ..fantastic if i just use an edt without matching aftershave..

    Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap
    Timeless Bronze
    Gillette Winner (3)
    Simpson's CH2 Synthetic (27mm, Destroyer Class)
    Stirling Sharp Dressed Man soap and AS

    Another super smooth shave with the Timeless Bronze. Today was an easy two pass DFS. The Gillette Winner is still cutting smoothly and so far am really happy with it, especial considering it's an 8 cent blade from India. One more shave left on the SDM sample. Have a great day my friends!
