Hi there kids. Been MIA for a few days takin' care of bid'ness. Lots of errands to run and the wifey is still battling stomach ailments. We're making progress there, but lots of tests and procedures are being run. So far we know she has some severe stomach bacteria that needs to be killed (taking meds for that now), she has issues w/ her liver and gall bladder as well. More tests to come.

On a positive note for those that have been following the saga, my transfer to the great city of Denver is back in play. Not a done deal yet, but looking pretty good for either the near or moderately near future. Fingers crossed; that will be a good move.

Finally got around to trying out the Palmolive soap Bong PIF'd me awhile back. Not bad. Not my top soap, but it did the job nicely enough. And that Bostonian cleaned up real nice w/ some CLR cleaner. It did the trick. So there are far too many pages to read through to catch up so I'm not going to. If you had any kind words posted to/about me you'll have to retype them.

King Crimson came out of the late 60s british progressive rock scene. They're on par with Yes and Emerson, Lake, and Palmer. The only member of the band who remained from start to finish is Robert Fripp. I highly recommend Lark's Tongue in Aspic. It's a superb album and you'll love it if you enjoy progressive rock.

 

Really? I thought it was only the Catholics....although I must say I'm not up on all my variations and their different rules...

Three posts in three hours?!? Could it be people are losing interest in our beloved HYD/TAT thread? We've gotta get to six figures someday so c'mon...where's our chatty kathys at?

 

sorry... just in a funk.... daughter had a blow up this afternoon so I got called out of the meeting I was running... About an hour after the conniption is over, I usually go into Eeyore mode.

 

Did someone say tattoo thread? Now that's a horse of a different color.

 

I think with the nicer weather, people are not sitting in front of the computer as much. I know it's that way with me; I just came in from sitting on the front porch with Wifey and the dogs while the girls played out front....spent close to 1½ hours out there....

Plus, with people not really hanging out in here like we used to, it makes it hard to just hang out in here by yourself....wanna talk about being accused of padding your post count? LOL :happy102

TAT was the precursor thread to this monster over on another site. It stood for The Anything Thread. I liked that name a little better but alas didn't want use it twice. Of course that title has since been removed from that thread so it is available again. Hmmmmmm........

I think you're right. Interest is waning a bit. I find myself losing steam these days as well. Maybe a nice break is needed as long as everyone comes back full of gusto!

Oh, I know.... it's different for some of you, but to those of us that have only known HYD.... plus I don't want to conjure up bad memories of places gone by....


So how warm was it today out there?

 

The Episcopal Church has some catholic roots. We did break off from the RC hierarchy but we preserved apostolic succession as well as some other traditions. This is a long way of saying that sacramental confession is practiced within the Episcopal Church.

I'm still interested, but I have two little ones and a full time job so I'm never able to sit and post for any substantial length of time. Interest always comes and goes. I'm sure it'll come back in a short while.
