My shaves with the RR keep getting better. I am not shaving till tomorrow morning with it, so we will see. I suppose there is a point where it wont get any sharper and I am just wearing down the blade, but I haven't reached that point yet (or so I think). It is still the weekend razor for those days when I can shave after everybody is already awake and the slap slap slap slap of the strop won't get me in trouble. What are you trying to sell?
GOOD STUFF .. I would have waved a finger at him. That is sweet of her. She misses daddy when he is at work huh.
You would have been more than welcome. Tomorrow night is Hungarian Stew, and I think I'll pick up some Kolsch beer to go with it. Sunday night is a fundraiser for Leukemia. Cochon555 = 5 chefs, 5 pigs, 5 wine makers. 5 chefs each prepare a full heritage hog, and serve the judges and attendies. The 5 wineries provide the drink http://www.amusecochon.com/
Lilttle ones are adorable at those times. I had to e-mail my daughter every few hours while on a trip a few weeks ago. She really got excited about it so I now e-mail her occasionally just for the fun of it. Looking back, there are other reasons the employee could have been glaring in my direction. It was 40 degree weather. I was walking up and down the street in short sleeves. Everyone else was in coats. I got a few odd looks for that, but I was comfortable and I didn't get the tourist treatment. I also had an awesome shave that morning, and they could have been really jealous. BTW: I am now enjoying some Dirty Bastard ale and a bag of Late Night Last Call Jalapeno Popper Doritos. (when did they start the screwed up names?)
I don't get it.... Yeah....she's been going through a phase lately where she's really been missing me on nightworks....it's tough, but whatcha gonna do? She's a trip on the IM, too.... she really loves her smilies!!!
I'm going to have to pick one of those up some day. I don't expect a WTB here would net me anything, most of the people here who get them likely want to keep them. I just had shave 4 or 5... I forgot to count... with the Iridium Super in my Tech. I'm feeling better about ordering a batch of those now. I'll probably continue to sample other blades, but having a healthy supply of one I know I like is reassuring.
Ahh... Apple.. maker of IPOD and Iphone two must have staples that everyone in the area must own or being ostracized. I walk by in front of their Chicago headquarters blatantly using non-apple technology...
You never know...it's always worth asking! Never tried those blades, but I know how you feel having a healthy supply of the one you like....I'm surprised they haven't d/c'ed the 7O'Clock blacks yet...
ahhh.... and yes for the record, I will still have a number of SE, I am just weaning out duplicates and ones that I don't use often. I probably should put the micrmatics out there as well. However, I only have one of each of those and may get the bug to have them again.
hehe...the guy who bought my MM had one shave with it and set it aside.... "maybe I'll try it again, maybe" he says :happy102 :happy102 :happy102 I warned him! He loves those Featherweights, though....
Yup, its good to ask. Almost any antique store I have been by has them, but they usually want too much. They often go for cheap on eBay. However, because of their weight, shipping is likely to cost as much as the actual RR though... Don't say that about the 7OB!!! Honestly, I thought that the Iridium were discontinued. I am surprised that Connaught now has them. I am hoping to get a few in a trade so that I can see if I really want to put in another order for blades. I only have 300+ blades at the moment. Of course, if anybody here wants to sell me some to try....
I should have said the last one you has for sale. Those Micro Matics take some running.. No doubt about it. He should try a 1912. I like the featherweight just fine..but the 1912 1913 and 1924 models blow them away.
