Is it really that different from a 1912? I know where one was located locally. I am assuming it will still be there if I go back.
I've never heard of the 1914.... I knew of the ER 1924, but a Gem 1914? How does it differ from the 1912? Oh, and he already has a 1912, the fat handle 1912, Featherweights (3 now), and probably some others....you know him - omegapd...
The 1914 is a Ever Ready. the head just opens a bit different.. they shave about the same. I can not wait to see how my open comb 1912 shaves. The head on the 1914 opens the same direction as the 1912.. it does not have the button on the back of the top piece though. just a catch. You lift on the side of the plate to open it. Hope that is an ok explanition.
Oh, OK....sounds like the '24.... does it have the "Lift Here" stamped on the edges of the head like the '24? There is a '24, right? Or am I getting all discombobulated? Looks like I sold the swastika brush... :happy088 Should I mark the rest for you Cal?

Yes the 14 has the lift here.. it just opens back instead of foward. I was thinking about getting one of the blue and white and one or the read and white..which ever of them were oldest to reknot.. the swastika one was intresting too.
Yup you are right I looked the 14 says lift here the 24 does not and opens foward. at least the one 24 Ihave does not say lift here like I thought it did.

She had just put a larger thingy in her ear (piercing/stretching thing.. I don't recall the term) and it was causing a lot of soreness.. might've even gotten infected the way she was talking. That's all I know. :think002
I heard that about Iridiums too, before I even tried them...but it's the Polsilvers that are discontinued. I don't imagine Paul would be selling them in such lots if they only had a case or so of remaining stock. That's just me, though. *shrugs* That 250 lot will probably be enough for 3 years if left just to me, but I could probably manage a couple of PIF's out of it.
