excited to try PermaSharp, Nacet, and Rapira. I know the youtuber PaulHfilms, KevyShaves, And others have nothing but high praise for them Blades! Lmk what you gentlemen think. Have you used them b4 ? What was your experience
My personal favorites are Nacets and Gillette Silver Blues (GSB). I also like the 7 O'clock series, but will take the first two if the price is similar. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
In no particular order besides number one (GSB) mine goes #1 Gillette Silver blue PolSilver Voskhod Personna isreali Red Feather Astra green But I assume I will love PermaSharp and Nacets
Don't get to tied up with blades. When you get down to it they all do the same job. Once your technique is solid a blade is a blade.
There is more truth to this then a lot of people will admit. Here is my DE blade inventory, haven't found one yet that didn't shave: Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
I have so many blades that I don't use, I've settled on Personna Lab Blue and haven't used anything else. But it was fun buying and trying new stuff.
Andrew, Blades Anonymous has a meeting tonight on the 3rd floor, cookies will be served. Good golly I thought I had a lot of blades.
Blades are that extra add on I buy when I need to hit the free shipping. Which once was a couple of times a week.
RazoRock and Stirling get most of my orders now days. Anytime they put out something new it's bye bye money! Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
Blades are more of a nuance level for your preferences once technique is dialed. There are small differences between them, but less than most people think. I like the Permasharp Supers the best out of those listed.
I've tried some 59 different DE blades. I found only ONE (Flying Eagle) I couldn't get DFS out of. And I only had 8 or 9 months experience at that time. Today I might make it. I have my favorites, but they're just the top of a long list of adequate blades.
Awesome. There are blades that are new and not sharp. Nothing you can dobabout that. Sounds like you have technique on your side!!!
My technique seems decent (adequate) as I don't seem to suffer from some of the issues I hear some people complain about on forums. OTOH, it's not good enough for me to get 100+ shaves out of a single blade, or BBS every time with only 2 passes, so it's nothing to brag about, either.
