Yes, when I add commas between the letters SOP to symbolize S,O,P, then it signifies Sulphur, Oxygen and Phosphorus for chemists.

Thanks Terry! If I recall the handle came to me in Round One, the base and cap in Round Two of The Traveling Box. With the overflowing shave cabinets here in The 30DC we could start one... It might not reduce anyone's total stash, but products might get moved around to other happy users!

Your asking these guys to help you NOT buy shaving stuff??
And you think we're gonna help you out on that??

Cartel HQ has a bubble like that. You can talk freely and no one outside hears you. Similar to a safety zone .
Had a puck of OS that came in a mug years ago. It was nothing to write home about.

Nice, I tried the Marco method but I don't like my brush that sloppy wet.I like to give it a few shakes to dislodge a little of the water.

I agree with you, Andrew! If the brush is too wet, then the soap is all over the place. If I don't bloom, then I start with a pasty lather and add small increments of water until the desired lather appears. If I use the wet brush method, I soak the brush, then squeeze the excess water and shake for good measure. Swirl the brush tips until I have loaded enough soap for 3 passes, then commence facelathering until desired lather. I am sure there are different versions of these 2 techniques, but the end result should be a lather that is suitable for shaving.

I'm thinking the MMOC is up next for me. Either that or the Shovelhead. Either one can draw blood way too easy.

    Stirling SEptember!!!

    September 10

    Razor - Gem 1914
    Blade - CVS Carbon SE
Soap - Stirling Electric Sheep small stupid sheep.jpg
    Brush - The Canuck
    Post - Alum

One more run on the Gem 1914 and we'll move on to another fine SE razor. Third shave with the CVS Carbon blade. It's holding up perfectly. No sign of rust or other issues. Time for some more mutton tallow love so out comes the Electric Sheep! Same formula as the Sheep except this has a kick. Lemon, Eucalyptus and Citronella give this one a unique scent that definitely isn't for everyone. I like it, and the lather - it is for everyone. Amazing how mutton tallow makes the soap that much richer, slicker and thicker. Good stuff.

The Canuck brush with the SynBad flat top knot made the lather quick and easy and three passes of noisy SE shaving on a carbon steel blade brought the baby home with smooth style. Yep. I'm loving this month. Hope you have a great Wednesday!
